The current fastest Powerline technology solutions are limited to 200 mpbs and Belkin is setting the bar high today with the introduction of its new Gigabit Powerline HD Starter Kit that runs at 1000 mbps. This is ideal to create an ultrafast local network through the home's electrical wiring that will be great to stream HD movies from a home server to any computer or media center located in the house, it enables the transmission of multiple video streams as well. The kit is available now in North America for $149.99 and it will be on the market in Europe in early August.
