BenQ Joybee GP1 Gets New PhlatLight LED

Projectors are making the leap to LED technology as well, making sure that regular TV sets aren't the only ones who will have a monopoly over this domain. Among the latest releases would be the BenQ Joybee GP1 pocket projector that will feature Luminus Devices' new PT-39 PhlatLight LED chipset, bringing SVGA (858 x 600) resolution, a brightness of 100 ANSI lumens and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio - pretty impressive stuff for something so small. BenQ has managed to keep the Joybee's price down to an affordable $499, and we hope to see more and more pocket projectors as well as bigger, standard size models come with PhlatLight LED technology as well.
