BenQ To Release Android-Powered Devices

BenQ might not be under the Open Handset Alliance umbrella at this point in time, but that doesn't mean the company won't be jumping aboard the Android bandwagon after revealing their intentions of doing so sometime next year, starting with both a smartphone as well as netbook. Unfortunately for everyone, BenQ failed to divulge any other important details about the products. Seeing the BenQ's standing in the cellphone world isn't exactly stunning, this move could help BenQ gain a firmer foothold if their handset takes off as expected.
