BlackBerry Onyx To Succeed Bold
Posted on Jun 17, 09 09:51 PM PDT

The BlackBerry Onyx looks set to succeed the Bold in the BlackBerry hierarchy, also going by its model number 9020. The handset's operating system displayed the Onyx name in more recent updates, and will be the third 9000-series BlackBerry after the Storm and Bold. We suspect the Onyx will come with GSM support, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS navigation, an increase in screen resolution to 480 x 360 and a trackball. Chances are the QWERTY keyboard will also be similar to that of the Bold. AT&T is tipped to be the carrier of choice.
