Gateway DX And SX PCs Arrive

Gateway's latest DX and SX computers have finally arrived, where the latter will take on a smaller form factor despite packing in the following :-

• 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Quad processor
• GMA X4500 integrated graphics
• 4GB RAM
• 640GB hard drive
• 18x DVD writer
• Multi-card reader
• Nine USB 2.0 ports (!)
• Firewire, eSATA, HDMI and VGA connectivity

For $499, you get all of the above plus Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit as the operating system of choice. For those who want something else that does more than just processing spreadsheets, the DX mini-tower is the right choice as it is powered by either an Intel Core 2 Quad or AMD Phenom X4 processor with NVIDIA GeForce G210/ATI Radeon 4650 graphics cards, holding up to 8GB RAM and a 1TB hard drive. The asking price for the DX mini-tower starts from $750 upwards.
