Initial Mintpass Mintpad Impressions

Our friends over at Pocketables have unboxed their Mintpass Mintpad and we have summarized their initial impression of the device that is lodged between a UMPC and netbook category.

• Great build quality
• Responsive touchscreen and quality display
• 1.3-megapixel digital camera performs better than expected
• Memo function is smooth and fast
• Decent mono speaker, although stereo would've been better
• Colorful UI supports swipe gestures and themes

It would be hard to see where this device will occupy its place in the overall hierarchy of things though.
