Intel Aims To Cap Netbook Prices
Posted on Jun 17, 09 10:39 AM PDT

Intel has released a statement where they recommend netbook prices not to shoot past $400, but then again this is not a rule which must be followed as manufacturers are still free to set their own prices. This sounds like good news to some, but it will ultimately still boil down to what the manufacturer wants to offer their wares for, so keep your fingers crossed that Intel's advice is heeded by them. All in all, it won't be too likely considering the number of netbooks these days that have long surpassed the $400 price point.
