Lenovo S12 With VIA Nano Option
Posted on Jun 29, 09 08:53 AM PDT

Folks who want to pick up the Lenovo S12 will now be able to choose from the VIA Nano ULV 2250 processor that is equipped with Chrome9 HC3 graphics, ousting the standard Intel Atom processor and GMA950 graphics chipset. The VIA setup will offer the Lenovo S12 a slight speed boost that comes at the cost of some battery life, so it really depends on what you're looking for ultimately. The increase in speed won't be enough to help you play the latest games, but it might increase your productivity a wee bit. The standard Intel Atom option goes for around $500, so surprisingly the new VIA option is $50 cheaper.
