The Monster MCC AV50 Home Theater Controller looks like something out of a nightmare scenario from the past, where this tabletop remote control allows you to gain full control of your home theater regalia courtesy of its Web-based setup. Strangely enough, you'll need to subscribe to it for $50 monthly, which will most probably turn the majority of people off since they won't see the need to commit themselves to yet another monthly subscription model considering the current economy we're in.
