Samsung recently announced a brand new 3G full touchscreen cellphone known as Haptic AMOLED, carrying the new high resolution 800 x 480 pixel AMOLED display that measures 3.5" diagonally across. Power consumption has been further reduced by another 66%, boasting a 180-degree viewing angle (although possible, it is not recommended as your eyes will probably protest shortly after). Available in Korea via SK Telecom, KT and LG Telecom, it will retail for approximately $700. Features include DivX, H.264, MPEG4 and AC-3 support, version 2.0 of the Haptic UI, T-DMB compatibility, a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity and navigation support among others.
