Sharp LED Lamps
Posted on Jun 11, 09 07:30 AM PDT

Sharp will be rolling out nine LED lamps in Japan shortly from today, where all of these will come with outstanding environmental performance such as high energy efficiency, long service life, and free of hazardous mercury to further keep our environment green especially during the manufacturing process. These lamps will feature a similar screw-in base with standard lamps, making them backwards compatible with sockets found in ordinary incandescent lamps. For example, the DL-L60AV LED Lamp comes with an Adjustable Color Function which lets one change the color of the white light emitted from the lamp using a remote control, which is a first in the industry. Users are able to choose from seven different shades of white according to their preference. All models will have a service life of 40,000 hours, so hopefully they'll be affordable enough for the masses. [Press Release]
