Super Small VGA Resolution Display
Posted on Jun 12, 09 10:47 AM PDT

This is touted to be the smallest VGA display in the world and for good reason - it manages to cram in 640 x 480 pixels into an LCD display that measures just slightly more than 0.25" diagonally across. This would translate into individual color dots that are 2.9 x 8.7 micrometers in size, where a standard typical piece of paper measures approximately 100 micrometers thick (or should we say, thin). No idea on what such a tiny, high resolution screen will be used for, but perhaps new digital stamps of the future might consider such a display?
