Super Talent has just rolled out its MasterDrive SX SSD range that will come in three capacities - 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. All three were specially designed for speed, and will boast an unusually large 128MB of cache, alongside an 8-channel controller and a Multi-Level Cell (MLC) NAND design which touts to offer a combination of density and speed. The 64GB MasterDrive SX SSD model has been rated at 200MBps for read speed and 120MBps for write speed, whereas the larger capacity brethren are slightly faster at 220MBps read and 200MBps sequential write speeds. Apart from being speedy, these Super Talent products are also power efficient and sip a mere 0.5W of juice in read mode and 0.15W in idle. You can pick up the 128GB MasterDrive SX model for approximately $336.
