Toshiba Announces Quartet Of Satellites
Posted on Jun 24, 09 08:11 PM PDT

These four new satellites would definitely be overlooked by Soundwave if he were to roam our earth, since they're much smaller than military installations of the same name in outer space, orbiting the earth. The four Satellite models are under the the L Series line comprise of the 14" Satellite L510/L515, the 15.6" and 16" Satellite L500/L505, as well as the high end 17.3" Satellite L550/L555, where each of them will be powered by a choice of AMD's Athlon or Turion, or Intel's Pentium or Core 2 Duo processors - it all depends on the configuration, actually. In addition, you can choose between integrated graphics or ATI's Radeon 3100 graphics processor. A 10-key numeric keypad is also available on the 15.6" and larger models, where they all come with a minimum 2GB RAM and 250GB hard drive. Interestingly enough, Toshiba has priced all of these at extremely affordable levels, retailing from $550 to $650. [Press Release]
