Posted on Jun 16, 09 04:31 PM PDT

Swedish car manufacturer Volvo has teamed up with Navteq to bring Volvo owners MapCare, a free map update program that ought to go some ways in making sure that drivers save a few hundred dollars when it comes to updating their in-dash GPS navigation systems with the latest maps. This program will offer two free map updates as long as you pick up a new 2010 Volvo C30, S40, V50, C70, V70, XC70, S80, XC60, or XC90 with a navigation system. Unfortunately, only North American buyers and several countries overseas qualify for this bonanza which starts from this month onwards.
