YouTube Evolves To YouTube XL
Posted on Jun 3, 09 09:08 AM PDT

How about trying on YouTube XL for size? This is a redesigned version fo the uber popular video sharing website, and while it still runs in your browser window, you won't need to go through the hassle of downloading another piece of software, as long as you have the latest version of Flash installed. Apparently, YouTube XL looks and works just like any other native application, featuring a clean interface that glaringly doesn't come with any ads (for the moment, it seems), doing away with suggested videos, comments and basically other content that tend to add up to the clutter. To make things more interesting, YouTube XL will also function on most devices that have a browser, and can be hooked up to a TV. Looks like the fight for our attention in the living room has gotten even more intense…
