Apple Unveils New Patent Applications

Apple has unveiled a slew of new patent applications that include facial recognition, where this technology will be used for controlling access and various handset functions. It is definitely less intuitive than other current options available, and it looks like passwords won't run out of style anytime soon. Up next would be a message filtering patent application which further describes different methods for controlling and filtering different text-based communications: After that would be two more patent applications that pertain to messaging, helping make things a wee bit easier and more efficient. Guess it will be some time before we see these hitting the market.
