Book-Sensitive Reading Lamp
Posted on Jul 16, 09 12:59 AM PDT

Now isn't this an idea - the Book-sensitive Reading Lamp that was designed by French designers Jun Yasumoto, Alban Le Henry, Olivier Pigasse and Vincent Vandenbrouck. By its looks alone, you can pretty much tell how to use it - the lamp will turn itself off whenever you place a book on it (on the page where you last stopped, of course), turning on whenever you remove the book. Hopefully this is one concept that will make its way to the real world soon - we would love to get our hands on something unusual like this.
