No idea why eMachines decided to name their latest line of desktops the ET Series, since the movie raked in a whole lot of money although the Atari videogame was a sad reminder of just how colossal a failure could get. Hopefully it will sell like the former more than the latter. First off we have the ET1300 and ET1810 that comes in a glossy white colors with the addition of NVIDIA's lower-tier graphics chipset for a slight improvement in graphics. The former will feature an AMD processor within, accompanied by a 512MB GeForce G100, 3GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive, alongside an 18.5" display that boasts a 1,366 x 768 resolution and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, retailing for $450. As for the couple of ET1810 models, these Intel-based systems will start from $300 upwards, where you can choose between an Intel Celeron 1.6GHz and a 2.2GHz Pentium dual-core processor.
