Trust the boffins at MIT to come up with a camera that uses light-sensitive fibers instead of a lens. This camera supposedly can “measure light intensity distribution at different wavelengths across a large area.” Apparently, all information gathered by the fabric will be fed into a computer for further processing. Don't go getting funny ideas just yet on how to best take advantage of this by uploading secret voyeuristic videos with this - it will still take some time before wearable cameras that offer 360 degrees of vision to the wearer are available to the masses.
