Google Voice Mobile yanked

Google Voice is one above average service despite its minor annoyances, and the mobile version for BlackBerry and Android platforms do away with the need for additional steps, making it an obvious replacement for your handset’s native dialer. While there is no official client on the iPhone, selected 3rd party developers have released their own apps on the App Store. Apparently, such actions has caught the attention of the folks at Apple, where apps such as GV Mobile has been removed, with Apple citing the fact that it “duplicates features that come with the iPhone”. Apart from that, VoiceCentral has also been removed from the App Store. How's that for some tight-fisted rivalry?
