In a couple of weeks, developers will be able to submit their Windows Mobile (WM) applications to the Windows Marketplace, which is the Microsoft equivalent of the iPhone “app store”. That's an interesting event, because while there are quite a few Windows Mobile phones out there, the level of excitement about WM application has never been very high. Microsoft is giving a 70% revenue share to developers to entice them to use its platform. Hopefully, Windows Mobile users will have better and cooler apps this fall.
