Logitech Harmony 900 supports RF, in-cabinet IR blasters
Posted on Aug 11, 09 01:07 AM PDT

Logitech just announced its Harmony 900, a universal remote that builds on the work the company did with the Harmony One. The 900 uses the same superb physical design as the Harmony One, but it now supports radio frequency (RF) commands, in addition to infra-red (IR) ones. Logitech has also added a piano black dock that will charge the remote: that's a pretty neat idea. That's not all, Logitech now has in-cabinet IR blasters for users who like to have everything neatly packed and hidden away (like me). Finally, the setup for the remote is fairly easy. It's not perfect, but it's miles ahead of the competition. $399 on Amazon
