Seg Clip 1Seg streams TV shows to the iPhone
Posted on Aug 5, 09 12:48 PM PDT

I-O Data just launched their Seg Clip 1Seg TV Tuner for iPhone. I've seen something like this at Mobile World Congress, but I-O data will actually retail this product in Japan in August. It works by plugging the Seg Clip onto a Windows PC that will decode the video broadcast. You will also need to install a software on your iPod Touch / iPhone (available from the App Store, presumably) in order to receive a video stream (via WIFI?). It is also possible to store the video in the iPhone/iPod Touch to watch them later. Mac users: only Windows is supported at this time. [Akihabaranews, I-O Data]
