Zoo animal waste to power vehicles

Scientists in New Orleans are exploring the possibility of using waste from zoo animals to power automobiles sometime in the near future. According to researchers form Tulane University, they are looking into the waste product of plant-eating animals in the zoo and check out the types of bacteria which take part in breaking down cellulose within the animal. These bacteria could be genetically modified to turn waste into fuel. Guess it won’t sound so weird in the future if we say that our vehicles, to put it in a rather crude manner, runs on shit.
