Apple testing Mac OS X 10.6.1 update
Posted on Sep 3, 09 10:11 AM PDT

Word has it that Apple is working round the clock to make sure the Mac OS X 10.6.1 update will be free of major glitches and bugs when released, which is pretty good to know since this move occurs just four days after Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard arrives on store shelves. Selected groups of developers are currently toying around with these external builds in order to make sure everything the release will be up to par and good enough for mass consumers without running into unwieldy bugs that are often found in the domain of the Windows environment.
