Posted on Sep 28, 09 09:21 AM PDT

Asus has made it known that they will be offering a new 12" netbook to the market - the Eee PC 1201HA. Although still not official, the Eee PC 1201HA has already shown up on their support site where it will run on the Intel US15W chipset, accompanied by an Intel Atom N270 processor, 2GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a 6-cell battery, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as Windows 7 Home Premium, which clearly places this as a netbook that will arrive after Windows 7 is unleashed later next month. The HA suffix would point towards this model falling under the Seashell banner, and will most likely retail for around $499 sometime in Q4 this year.
