Dust Alert sensor

Researchers at Tel Aviv University (TAU) managed to come up with a brand new sensor known as Dust Alert, where it is based on a portable chemical analyzer that measures the concentration of tiny particles which could eventually contaminate the air in the area around you. It will need to be placed at a desired location for three weeks to offer real-time contamination levels in terms of dust, pollen and toxins. Although it can work within minutes of installation, several weeks of samples are required to provide the best assessment of air quality. We see a niche market for this for those who suffer from allergies and want to move to a new house or office, but it will probably be better applied in the aftermath of disasters.
