Posted on Sep 24, 09 04:08 AM PDT

The new Fon Fonera 2.0n router is finally official, bringing 802.11n Wi-Fi speed to your network of computers. Owners will be able to work with the Fonera 2.0n router pretty quickly, where they can be up and about uploading content to Facebook, Flickr, Megaupload, Picasa, RapidShare and YouTube among others even when the relevant computer is turned off. Apart from that, you can use it to download BitTorrents and send Twitter updates to signal whenever a completed transfer is successful or not, or when a guest hooks up to the public hotspot. You can also make use of a USB 3G modem to be the main source for its Internet connection when the situation calls for it. Expect the Fon Fonera 2.0n router to go for $99 a pop. [Press Release]
