Posted on Sep 30, 09 08:17 AM PDT

Verizon looks set to unveil a Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone of their own that doesn't come with a QWERTY keyboard, in the guise of the HTC Imagio XV6975. Capable of being used worldwide, this will be the first Verizon smartphone which will support VCast MobileTV that runs on the Qualcomm MediaFLO network. Apart from that, it will also feature a 5-megapixel autofocus camera without flash, a 3.6" WVGA display, a 3.5mm headset jack, a microSD memory card slot, a 528MHz processor, Wi-Fi connectivity and HTC's very own TouchFLO 3D user interface. No idea on pricing, but it ought to hit the market before October is over.
