LG BD390 Blu-ray player offers VUDU support
Posted on Sep 10, 09 03:57 AM PDT

VUDU has further extended its tentacled reach to envelope LG’s BD390 Network Blu-ray player, allowing owners of the said device to tap into their on-demand HD (1080p, Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 surround sound) movie service before September is over through the BD390's menu system. The VUDU service will be free, so you can purchase or rent movies straight from the player itself without the need to fork out additional monthly fees or for new hardware. There are currently, over 2,200 titles available in HD or HDX format for you to choose from, helping you see the other side of the coin where non-physical media could possible be the future. If you're interested in picking up LG's BD390, it will cost $399. [Press Release]
