Packard Bell dot m/u netbook
Posted on Sep 16, 09 09:14 AM PDT

No idea on how the Packard Bell dot m/u netbook is supposed to be pronounced, but perhaps they don't have that much hope of it being popular, hence not bothering with how one interprets its pronounciation. Dubbed to be the "first netbook with the performance of a notebook", this 11.6" device will have a similar chassis to that of the rest of the dot series, although it will have a higher level of specifications including an Intel ULV processor, an embedded numeric keypad, a multi-gesture touchpad, HDMI port, Dolby support, up to 500GB hard drive, maximum of 4GB RAM, a 5-in-1 memory card reader, a built-in microphone and a webcam. Available in NightSky Black and Cherry Red colors, prices for the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium-powered dot m/u will retail from £399 upwards.
