The Vue Personal Video network has started to ship, where this kit will comprise of a wireless video portal device and a couple of battery-powered wireless cameras. The latter will feature easy mounts that use self-adhesive as well as some magnets to keep them in place wherever you want them to be, while the internal batteries will run for up to a year before requiring a replacement. Once in place, you are able to view whatever's going on within the sphere of view of the two cameras over any browser on the Internet in real-time. The wireless cameras will have a 300 foot working range, where the entire kit will retail for $299 while additional cameras cost a Benjamin each. Perfect for remotely checking out what your kids are doing, eh?
