Yamaha Skype-certified USB speakerphones
Posted on Sep 18, 09 09:32 AM PDT

Yamaha has rolled out a couple of Skype-certified USB speakerphones for those who spend plenty of time on VoIP applications such as Skype to communicate with friends and family around the globe. The PSG-01S as seen is able to switch between an all-party speaker mode and speakerphone duty automatically, depending on how you place it vertically or horizontally. As for the PJP-25URS, this model is more or less pretty much the same as its predecessor, although it will come with Windows Vista (and in all probability Windows 7) support. Shared features among the two include being USB-powered, dedicated Skype controls, echo cancellation and noise reduction. Expect to see either model arrive in the US and Europe this September.
