Apple MacBook updated with new unibody

Apple aims to impress the masses (which isn't a very hard thing to do with a company of its pedigree) by introducing a new unibody MacBook that does resemble the glossy model of the 13" MacBook Pro of yore, retailing for $999 still. At that familiar price point, you will get a new plastic chassis, an LED backlit display, the new glass multitouch trackpad and a battery that supposedly lasts for up to 7 hours. We'd take that figure with a pinch of salt as real world conditions are normally very different from that of a controlled environment. Features and specifications of the basic MacBook comprise of an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz processorm a 250GB hard drive, 2GB RAM and an NVIDIA 9400M GPU.
