HUBO in fourth iteration

KAIST is now in their fourth iteration for humanoid robot KHR-4 HUBO, where it stands 125cm tall while boasting an internal skeleton that is made out of aluminum alloy alongside a plastic exterior. The refined outer body has in a way, forced KAIST researchers to find a way to include complex mechanical systems within the artistic design of the frame. What makes HUBO different from other rather similar robots would be the inclusion of individually controlled five-fingered hands, giving it the added flexibility of indulging in complex gestures including sign language.
