Bang & Olufsen's BeoVision 7 has now hit the magical 55" mark, where its previous effort managed just 40" for folks in North America. This flagship LCD video system's enlarged viewing area will offer customers more options and enhanced picture quality, where the BeoVision 7-55 integrates the sophisticated Bang & Olufsen BeoSystem 3 video engine, double frame rate technology at 120Hz, motion compensation and progressive scanning backlight. Meant to be placed on the floor, the 7-55 will come with a couple of motorized floor stand options, where one of them is high while the other is low, alongside a stationary wall mount placement. Expect to fork out a heart-stopping $18,700 for the BeoVision 7-55 though when it is released later this month. [Press Release]
