Dungeons & Dragons on Microsoft Surface multi-touch table

The SurfaceScapes project is the brainchild of students from Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center (ETC), where it will deliver a proof-of-concept for playing tabletop role-playing games on the Microsoft Surface Table. Dungeons & Dragons was the natural choice when it came to testing the prototype, making us salivate in anticipation should this be a success. Of course, this won't kill off ordinary tabletop gaming as we're sure the entry price would sit well only with a handful of folks, but it will be a top class draw in virtually any gaming expo or convention.
