Hikari iFrame unveiled

NTT has just unveiled its Hikari iFrame, an Android-powered tablet that supposedly not only handles all your portable computing needs, it also functions as a digital picture frame when the situation calls for it. You get a 7″ touchscreen display that will be accompanied by a speaker, an alarm clock function, a USB port and an SD memory card slot. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to surf the Internet in a jiffy, although we wonder just how easy it is to navigate your way around. The Hikari iFrame will arrive in Japan only sometime in the first half of next year, where it is tipped to retail between $220 and $330.
