iMac upgraded with SSD

Have some time on your hands and want to do something special with your iMac? Check out this hack where the 24" iMac's hard drive has been removed, replaced instead with a smaller and much faster SSD to complement the Drobo which is used for external storage. Installation was a snap, although some adjustments were required to fit the 2.5" drive into space meant for a 3.5" drive. The end result is something everyone looks forward to, including a satisfying speed increase where application launches are concerned.
