Ionic Battery Technology For The Future
Posted on Nov 7, 09 09:23 AM PDT

We’ve seen laptop and computer technology improve in leaps and bounds, but one thing that’s been rather constant is the crappy battery life, thanks to lithium-ion technology which hasn’t been replaced just yet. Is that set to change? Well, Fluid Energy, a government-backed firm is certainly trying to do so. The new ionic batteries that it’s working on could increase battery life by up to 6 times, meaning we could have an average of 24-hour battery life, which is really cool. We’re certainly looking forward to the day where we can charge our laptops every 2 days or once a week or something.
