iPhone Worm Lurks
Posted on Nov 9, 09 06:52 AM PDT

Just when you thought that one of the main reasons for having an Apple product would be having the peace of mind of not having to contend with computer viruses and the like, along comes news of an iPhone worm which will target jailbroken iPhones. First discovered in Australia (must be the great outbacks there), the worm is a mobile Rickroll as it changes the iPhone background to a photo of Rick Astley. Nothing too serious at the moment, but it does send a note of caution for those who are thinking of picking up an iPhone in the future followed by a jailbreak attempt. So far, four variants have been written . Do make sure you change the default password after installing SSH though.
