LaCie LaCinema Classic HD

The LaCie LaCinema Classic HD is a 1080p media player that can decode files on its 1TB local storage or stream content from a DLNA/uPNP compatible device on the network. On the video side, it plays popular formats (DivX, MKV, AVC, H.264). LaCinema Classic is a media server and a media player at the same time. it connects to the HDTV via HDMI, or to a standard TV via an Analog video input. More ports are present: Ethernet, USB, Micro-USB and an Optical audio-out.
At $250, it's difficult to build a PC that has the same capabilities, although it is possible to get close. A PC is more flexible, but it will require more efforts to install and possibly use. So which are you? DIY or not?
