NSA Looking To Store Yottabytes Of Data
Posted on Nov 1, 09 11:49 PM PDT

Ever wondered how big storage space could really become? Well, if you take an interest in the NSA, there are reports online that indicate that NSA is constructing a datacenter in the Utah desert that that will store yottabytes of surveillance data. No, we don’t mean gigabytes, terabytes, or petabytes. A yottabyte is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000GB. Plenty of storage space to store all those surveillance videos, don’t you think? If you’re into Big Brother conspiracy theories, this is certainly going to set your alarm bells ringing.
