Softbank to release Android phone next spring

Softbank, the No.3 wireless carrier in Japan did reveal today that the company is looking to unveil its first Android-powered smartphone in spring sometime next year, following similar launches by NTT DoCoMo and Verizon Wireless. Softbank did not reveal the hardware manufacturer behind this Android-powered handset (although we think HTC would be a decent option), we do know it will come with an OLED display.
