Sony has decided to inject a little bit more steroids into their VAIO P netbook in the US, allowing it to keep up with the recently released Windows 7 operating system. The new VAIO P models will come with Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional, powered by an Intel Atom 2GHz processor and aided by a 256GB solid-state drive for superior performance in a champagne-colored shell. The base system that comes with an Atom 1.33GHz processor will still go for $850, while the souped up version which we mentioned earlier will cost a whopping $1,900, arriving at the end of this month onwards.
