Lenovo Skylight One Pager

[CES 2010] Make no mistake about it – the Lenovo Skylight One Pager is not a paging device that sends the latest sports results to your fingertips, but is categorized under the smartbook category, nestling comfortably between a netbook and a smartphone. You get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz ARM II processor running the proceedings from within with a customized Linux operating system, alongside 8GB of internal flash memory and 512MB RAM. A multi-in-one memory card slot is there to further augment its storage capability, while you can also hook this up to a HDTV thanks to an HDMI connector. Expect to be able to make video calls with this puppy as it comes with a 1.3-megapixel camera and a SIM card slot to make full use of its 3G quadband WCDMA connectivity. Available in Earth Red and Lotus Blue colors, the Lenovo Skylight One Pager will feature a 10.1″ display at 1,280 x 720 resolution alongside a battery life of up to 10 hours. The asking price of $499 isn’t exactly a sane move (even if it were the best of times), and this isn’t the iPhone after all. Perhaps $199 would be a more comfortable price point for most of us, eh?
