Samsung Touchscreen Super AMOLED At MWC
Posted on Feb 8, 10 07:17 AM PDT

Whether you’ll be attending the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona or not, Samsung’s got something rather cool up its sleeve, namely a phone with a Super AMOLED display. The device will supposedly sport a 3.3-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, though that’s all the information that’s currently available at the moment. The device hasn’t been named, and specifications of it haven’t been named either. Despite that, claims are already going around that the AMOLEDs will be up to 5 times better than the average phone, and will perform a cool 20 percent better when used outside, which would be great, since most phones’ display don’t do very well in the sunlight.
