HP Mini 311 BIOS has been hacked

The day has finally arrived – the BIOS of the HP Mini 311 has been hacked, where some of the added functionality now includes the ability to unlink FSB and memory frequencies, letting one set those frequencies independently in the BIOS. Apart from that, there are also options to specify the amount of graphics RAM independent of system RAM, set memory timings, chipset voltage and more. You should only update your BIOS if you know what you’re doing, otherwise steer clear of it. Seasoned campaigners are able to overclock the HP Mini 311 to hit 2.2GHz from its 1.6GHz standard configuration.
