Persistence Of Vision Clock Powered By A Hard Drive Motor

People seem to have a penchant for turning defunct hard drives into clocks, not that we mind, and next up we’ve got a persistence of vision clock, which is housed within a block of acrylic, and is powered by a hard drive motor mounted in the center of the panel. The motor is used to spin a PCB, and uses an optoelectric sensor to sync the display with the rate of rotation, giving you the cool effect of a digital analog clock.
